The third project teachers’ session, hosted by Gaziosmanpasa
Ilkogretim Okulu, took place in May 2013. Its participants evaluated a survey
on the pupils’ ways of relaxing and approved a new task to do – the
implementation of a multilayered fitness programme worked out by a group of
teachers from Lousada. In addition, a lot of time was spent on the
presentations concerning some actions done in the partner institutions in order
to prevent negative phenomena in the school environment. Another project
activity arose based on the presentations – trying out examples of “good practice” in each school.

The hosts of the meeting did their best to make the
teachers from abroad become familiar with the characteristics of Turkey’s
educational system (the pupils’ performances, open classes, a meeting with the
representatives of the municipal body managing the local education) as well as
the cultural heritage of Istanbul (guided tours around the city).
