The host of the
fourth project teachers’ session, held in October 2013, was EB23 de Lousada –
part of Agrupamento Vertical de Escolas Lousada Centro. During the meeting the
representatives of the partner institutions gave feedback on trying out
examples of “fair play practice” and the implementation of “Let’s get fit”
programme. They also made specific arrangements on a new task - working
out three recipes for healthy and tasty food, typical of each country involved
in the project, and sending them to all other schools to try out.

The participants of the session |
While staying in
Portugal the participants of the session had the opportunity to get to know
what the Portuguese educational system is like (tours of pre-primary, primary and secondary schools, monitoring
lessons, the pupils’ performances, a visit to the local teachers training
centre, talks with the Mayor of Lousada) as well as broaden their knowledge
about the geography, history and culture of Norte Region (guided tours around
such places of interest as Oporto and Guimarães).
